Love my M5... accidentally sold it... have question?

So I have had my Alpine White M5 since the end of 2012 and I have loved every minute.

This week a friend made me an over that I couldn't refuse and suddenly I was without my baby... eeek!!

This set off a whole chain reaction in terms of what to replace it with. Heres the quick version.

- looked at E63, sounded good, felt dead on the road, looks boring.

- looked at RS6, sounded good, sticks to the road like nothing else, looks good.

- looked at Range Rover Vogue, hmmm... quiet, hides weight well on road, looks good.

- 2015 Alpine White 'Competition Pack' M5.

So I went and test drove it and WOW this car really does feel like a super refined version of my old car. I was really surprised by the suspension. Even though the suspension is firmer, it seems to be far better damped. The work they have done on the exhaust is just right. Throttle response feels sharper. The upgraded iDrive is great etc etc.

BANG! So I bought it and arrives over the next 10 days, I'm really amped but here's the question:

Here in New Zealand I have two wheel options on 'CP'. The 343 in 'Competition' black or the new 601. What do you guys think would look better on an Alpine White car?

I know there is a whole lots of talk about forged/cast and weight etc between these wheels, but that doesn't really bother me. If any of you have an Alpine White car with black 343's fitted I would love you to post a photo.

Exciting week at the bottom of the world... go well ;-)

Craig

PS: heres a photo of my gone car...

I have 601s and prefer the look but I hate that they are cast. I have had two bent rims.

Don't know how... I would assume a pot hole, Houston roads are not the best. I did not know they were bent until the tire shop pointed it out.

Double WHOA!!

Your car looks hot. In fact thats exactly how my car is going to look if I choose the 601's. You have your front and side grills gloss black, yes?

Can you pop up any other photos?

Thanks
Craig

If you don't care between cast and forged, I'd go with the 601's. Looks much better.

I'm really surprised 601 owners get bent rims because oem tires are pretty meaty. Maybe they were under inflated and then hit a pot hole?

I would look at the 343Ms in black. They look great and the rims are forged. The contrast with AW is awesome IMO

That's a tough choice. I love my 601s but the 343 in black look good. I think either one will look good so you really can't go wrong.

Still love my 343s with my Singapore Gray. They look great. I think those painted black would look awesome with your white car. Very aggressive looking. The 610s will look less aggressive and more classy. Different look.

Different look for sure- 601s make the car look more elegant. 343 in black definitely more "aggressive".

depends on whether you want something to look different to what you just sold... if you go black 343's, pleople will think you havent upgraded, and that you just got your rims done in black.

if you want a change, go for the 601's, but maybe consider rim insurance..

just my 2 cents.....
