Any Update? They reinstalled my Nav software while mine was at the dealer last week and it made no difference. The icon shows my car going through intersections about 2 blocks behind my actual position. It also freezes and is constantly moving while I'm stopped.

I had this problem with my old Honda Accord. It was all due to the type of tint I had. One I replaced it with the "regular" tint, the problem went away. Ever since then, I have been using the regular tint with no reflective coating.

Did you have a tint recently? Just a suggestion for idea.

That would make sense and I will check, but isn't the NAV antenna in the fin on the roof? Anyone seen a wiring diagram showing the antenna location?

Very upset. Car was left at dealership for 10 days. After software updates, replaced nav module problem persisted. Other M cars on the lot had same problem. Bmw now has released a bulletin stating its an issue with teleatlas, and not the vehicle. Giving vehicle back unrepaired. I am not happy with this. Will contact bmwna next....

Yes, same with my old Honda. The tint actually deflected the signal from the satellite and, therefore, the position of the car was not accurate.

As has mine, but is that really a comment that warrants opening up a 8 month long dormant thread?

lol wow. Didn't see the thread had been dormant that long. Clearly creeping the archives and went too far back.
