CCB F10 Wet Brakes Sound Like A Horn

Hey there, I picked up a F10 M5 a few months ago, and I've noticed when the brakes are wet and used, they sound like I'm honking my horn.

Is this normal? It usually goes away after a couple stops, but super embarrassing washing my car, and then backing out of my driveway sounding like I'm honking as I leave.

The horn sound does return occasionally while just driving around, but seems to go away if I brake hard.

Yea my CCBs make some strange and annoying noises as well. The first couple times I thought something was wrong with my brakes. I dont get the sounds when wet though. It seems to be worst when I drive in stop and go city traffic, stopping often, but not really heating up the brakes. The two things I've found that help are repeated aggressive stops from speed or cleaning them with the pressure washer once a week.

+1 on the mitigation technique. Totally worth the brake dust free life though.
