That's one ugly M5, but who knows until you see it in person

by the way, I believe those won't be the production mirrors or side skirts.

If you look at the E60 M5 Concept, it had regular 5 series mirrors and side skirts.
I am confident that this will be the same here

i Like the front.. classy. The rear is way too boring/civil. The diffuser isnt nearly aggresive enough, but sure that issue will be addressed by an aftermaket one.

I like it. It's subtle yet aggressive, just like what an M5 should look like.

yeah the rear leaves a lot to be desired...but overall, i can't wait for this car's official release! the (current) regular 5 is already a HUGE improvement over the E60

The wheels are boring and the rear is awkward from the angle of the photo. Other than those quibbles, it looks freaking awesome.

Car looks great. Agree with others that the rear is the weakest point.

The wheels will likely change too, as those are just the F10 M-Sport wheels in gloss black. When the E92 M3 Concept was revealed, it was wearing E46 ZCP wheels, and those obviously changed by the time the car came out.

Also noteworthy are that the sideskirts aren't even the M-Sport sideskirts. That's probably more evidence that they'll change.

I also find it interesting that BMW didn't employ any of the air curtain designs in the front or rear bumpers.

Lastly, I like the single-walled exhaust tips.

Nice! A bit predictable, but I like the color and wheels. What will be different on the production model?

Pictures of the rear don't look flattering... I hope it will look better from different angles.

Maybe I'm blind but I don't see the huge problem with the rear end. The rear end doesn't look aftermarket at all, it looks very OEM.

The rear end reminds me of the X5M rear and the M3 sedan rear. I think the pictures are misleading by making it clearly seem like the thing between the exhaust tips is matte black, it's silver, it's just the lighting. My first thought was that it was tacky matte black to look like a cheap imitation diffusor, but it's not.

Overall it's a nice design, but the mirrors and side skirts need revision. I also think the exhaust looks too small.

those are 100% nor the production mirrors or side skirts... take a look at the E60 M5 Concept, it had regular 5 series mirrors and side skirts.

I think those will be the production wheels...again..look at the E60 M5 concept, the wheels were the production wheels exactly.

As nice as this car is, the M sport body accents are not too far off from this.
