Capristo 100 Cell Sport Cats
G’day
I was wondering wether anyone in the M5 or M6 community has had any experience with these 100 cell sport cats ; and if so did they get any CEL light ? https://capristoexhaust.com/product/...cats-100-cell/ Cheers Bruce |

I know they are expensive but that’s not the question are asked !
I’d still like to know if anyone on the board here has used them or know of the product. Capristo USA make these to be used in racing (and track work) for the S63Tu engine and use Grade 309 stainless steel. I googled a data sheet reference for this grade of stainless steel : “Grade 309 stainless steel has high corrosion resistance and strength compared to 304 stainless steel” Cheers Bruce |

I had Super Sprint 200 cell cats and they threw a code, so guessing these will too.

Not sure if this helps, but what I did is have some cats put into the section 1 mid pipes. Allowed me to run a stage 2 tune with catless downpipes and have no smell at the same time.
Good luck on your research! |

This is what I did too. Actually, I bought the Supersprint Mid pipes with 200 Cell cats and then ran catless DPs. I was running a 94 octane stage 2 tune.

I have catted downpipes, you can remove the CEL. You have to map it out in the software. Active Autowerke did mine. Had them for about 3 weeks and no warning lights.

You are better off investing in cheaper downpipes and a flash tune.
