I'm going with the 3D Design style side skirts in this pic. I have the rear diffuser installed, will be going with the same front lip and side skirts (well RW Carbon copies anyway) that are in this pic.

Looked at the ssd ones, I like the flat profile ones but I was hoping to spend as little as possible.
I dont mind carbon, I've got carbon diffuser and rear spoiler but I think gloss black sill extensions would look right down the side, would tie in nice with the window trims etc. |

I got an eBay set for like $400 shipped. It’s weird cause there were ranges from $400-599. Let’s just say you get what you pay for. I had to trim the back and front pieces with a dermal to make it fit and the clear coat was over coated in some areas. Luckily it so low on the car it’s not so noticeable.
I got my rear side spats from JL Motoring and this was a real quality product. I’d pay the extra $150 if I could do it again to either get JL Motoring sideskirts or RW Carbon. Here’s some pics of my car for reference: |

I've been thinking about adding the JL Motoring Side Skirts and the Rear Side Skirts. A concern I had was that my kids may accidentally step on them getting in or out and break them. Anyone on here had any issues with that?

They’d really have to go after the skirt to ruin it. |

Never realized so many of us have the 3d Design side skirts. I do too.
Now after having them awhile IMO I think there are better options out there. I chose them predominantly because of the winglet appearance on the trailing end. But I'd say the look squares off the sides a bit much. There is a slight muscular bulge in the OEM side skirt that gets lost. And lastly I kick the skirt all the time getting in and out. Kinda annoying. Need to say no more about my passengers. One of these days I think someone will crack it. I wish there were better options out there. I wanted to do something different than the standard "lip" look. But haven't come across anything better.

First time I'm seeing the side skirt as one piece like that in carbon fiber. Where did you get that from?

It's not my car but I believe they're BC Forged.
They're two pieces: side skirt plus extension added on. |
