Talking Another new M5 owner

Hello everyone,

Picked up my 2013 M5 a couple weeks ago and love it. Wife converted me over to BMW after playing in the Mercedes and Audi pools for awhile. However, I'm used to having more power than 560 at the crank. What is the easiest way to get to 700 crank hp and can the stock engine handle it?

Just get a flash, you'll be at 700hp no time. If you do downpipes 800hp at the crank.. After that with new clutches and bigger turbos..

The newer 63's run 577 and the 65's are over 600 (Benz wise). The RS7 Performance and the S8+ are over 600 (605 I do believe)

I'm not sure if the OP has had any of those but those are the ones that come quickly to mind.

I need to clarify. None of my Mercs or Audis did but I have a procharged 2005 GTO which has 750hp at the crank. While 560hp is great, I'm looking for more "even-ness" in my stable with the chance to sell the GTO if 700 is reachable with the M5.

I think most guys will confirm that the S63tu engine is underrated and the car is more along the lines of 600 crank hp if not a little more. The 700 hp is easily eclipsed with a flash or piggy tune (crankwise).
