New shoes

Finally got my new wheels from Rennen. After seeing the car dropped on the KW HAS springs, I regretted I didn't order 21" instead of 20", but it was too late. I had the exact same wheels on my E60, but on these the paint turned out slightly different/darker. The lip finish also isn't exactly what I ordered - I ordered gloss gunmetal and it's more like satin, but I'll live with it.

Wheel specs are 20x11 ET31 in the rear and 20x9.5 ET25 in the front. Matte gunmetal face with polished (more like satin) gunmetal steplip, red rivet flange with black rivets.

Stock PSS tires, no rubbing whatsoever. I don't think I'll be able to fit a 305 tire in the back without rubbing, but the front can definitely take 275 without issues.

Those look really good. I'm also looking at Rennen for some wheels, how was your experience with them as far as communication?

From a guy who stays stock and tends to not like aftermarket rims those are awesome. They look fantastic.

Beautiful wheels and great matching colors. 20s look well balanced, I would not regret not getting 21s.

Both wheels are sitting flush with the fender, the front tire is just slightly stretched. I already ordered new tires for the front, same size as these, but I'll see if I can change my order to 275/35/20 on Monday.

Sadly communication is not their best trait. They promised 2-3 weeks build time on my first set, but it took over 2 months. I placed my order mid December 2014 and got them late February 2015. There was a lot of unanswered e-mails, conflicting information and frustrated phone calls. I guess they had some issue, that they either failed or didn't want to communicate, but they delivered at the end and I was very happy with the product.

The 2nd set went a lot smoother - ordered mid September and got them a few days ago, which was reasonable.

In terms of quality and technical expertise, I think they're great. I had a bit more conservative ETs for the F10 wheels (33 rear, 28 front), but they advised I go with 31 and 25 respectively, as they had some concerns about fitment and they were right. The fronts barely clear the caliper, but it's a perfect fit with ET25. Only thing I don't like on the new wheels is the lip finish, but I guess they used a different finisher/paint shop this time.

The photographs are stunning ......great composure and lighting..really set off the car. The wheels pop...interesting withe the red calipers, would also look great with a matching blue ring and stock blue calipers....

Nice wheels and great pics.

Is the car Singapore Gray? I saw that color for the first time recently, and was beautiful.

Looks awesome! Can you tell me about how you retrofitted the LCI LED head lights? As I understand, it is not an easy process. Thanks!

Depending on the year model, you'll need the LED headlights (which btw are not cheap), light module, gateway module, some wiring changes and coding. The grand total was about 5600 euro.

I can provide more details on PM if you're interested.
