Stop / Start Feature

in anticipation of a January delivery, I have been reading up on the manual. Is it true for the 2014 models that the Stop/Start function remembers the last setting the driver used? In other words, you switch the function off once, and remembers this after each subsequant start.

I know BMW was finally allowing a re-program to get this feature, but did not know it now comes from the facatory that way.

Yes it works that way from the factory. The 2013 M5s work that way from the factory too, so no worries mate.

May just be a regional thing, however, UK LCI M5s do not seem to have 'Last User Mode' set by default from the factory. Some have been charged by service to code this and sign a disclaimer (see UK M5 thread for more details).
