So after careful reflection its clear that words are often passed without thinking before hand and with this in mind i would like to take my opportunity to adjust the feelings i wish to convey.....

You are a retard.

well that was unnecessary

the fact of the matter is that a speed limiter is a practical feature, as I dont have the time or patience to deal with speeding tickets, I've used the feature before

however vdub never fails to draw attention to himself, and just like every other smug but ultimately insecure AMG fanboy, he cant help but betray his phallus envy for the many nice things found inside an //M car

gentlemen, behold the Pakistani version of Johnny Lieberman

Ive not used the car all week so i thought a quick 'blast' would be appropriate. All was going well until i pulled out of the bank's car park.

Its a 90 degree turn onto a 'quiet straight road', so a right foot push was both overdue and in order and with the Steering wheel on full lock, i selected the M1 button on the wheel. All clear left and right, i nursed the immediate corner before stomping on the throttle (sorry too scared to stomp when not straight) and then disaster struck.

Previously unseen lights appeared on the dash, followed by a complete drop in power. I checked the dash again only to read the words 'LIM' which i took as 'Limp' mode. In complete shock i continued at 25mph searching for an appropriate place to pull over, whist assuring Mrs Stiggly we were in 'Limp' mode for a reason....the cars going back to BMW....relax

As soon as i pulled over i did a check, only to receive an 'OK' message - NO FAULTS. Before i had chance to puzzle over why this was, i noticed the 'LIM' message had disappeared

I pulled off to see if order was restored (which it was) then clicked what had happened

I thought i had pushed the M1 button, but i had actually pushed the LIM button - SPEED LIMITER (steering wheel upside down)

I am a complete cock
Easy mistake to make. I would not worry about it. Keep it in mind for next time .....

The US guys don't have the same button. If they did there would be threads with 1000s of posts in response.
