Current 911TT owner ready to return to the ///M family! Pics to share and need advice

Dear ///M Enthusiasts, it gives me great pleasure to announce my return to the family!! To make a long story short, over the last 5 yrs., I've had my share of great rides and 5 months ago jumped ship to a Porsche 911 turbo. However, due to growing family and lust for the F10, I've decided to let my black beauty go. BTW, if anyone's interested in a pristine 2009 model with 7,000 miles, please PM me. I loved my E60 M5 and M6, and will forever miss the legendary V10, but the overall improvement of the F10 has won me over, therefore I am in the hunt for her. I've enclosed two cars that are very enticing, and would love some feedback from you guys as far you pricing, concerns..etc.

The blue M5 dealership was rude and difficult to work with, so I'm leaning towards the white one, besides, I really enjoyed owning the white E60 M5.

Enclosed are pix of my rides for the last 5 yrs., enjoy!

Welcome back to the family. I lived in Dallas until recently, very near the dealer with the blue car. I stopped in once, and the experience was, in a word, weird. I was the only person in the shop for at least 30 minutes, and the owner just stood behind his counter and watched me the whole time. I finally asked him a question just to break the silence.

Make sure you read all of the ad very carefully. Maybe you did, but there is a lot of fine print, some of which is very important, especially the part directly underneath the window sticker image! This dealer focuses on cars that have been "generously repurchased" from the automaker, which I interpret as "lemons". There are different views on whether or not one should buy a manufacturer repaired car that was repurchased from the original owner, so where to go from there is up to you.

Thanks for your word of advice, I definitely need to keep my guard up, especially buying vehicles sight unseen. Lol about the dealership owner, I probably spoke to the same today, it was like talking to myself.....

Sounds about right. Bummer, too, because he had some beautiful cars (I was looking at a TTRS when I stopped in).

Having said that, I found a great used F10 M5 shortly thereafter, and I've been loving it ever since. If you haven't driven one, give it a try. It has changed many minds of NA fans (including me, I had an E93 M3).

Good luck in your search, looking forward to seeing where you end up!

Simply put this car F10 M5 is dangerous
If you buy it it will ruin the fun of changing cars too soon -

I sure hope you're right since I suffer from a bad case of ADD when it comes to cars.

That is a very nice 997 turbo, the color combo is gorgeous. Good luck with your search, the F10 is an amazing car.

I'm always on the lookout for the 911 turbos and GT models because they're rare in the city. I'm a sucker for the Pcars.
