804 HP M6??

PP performance is claiming 804HP from an F1x M6 with catless downpipes and a ecu tune. What do you guys think about this?

Recently spoke to a friend of mine from Indonesia (does not work in automotive) which has PP-Performance. He said his M6 makes 797hp on the dyno. I asked for a copy of the dyno sheet. Curious to know what kind of dyno.

630 HP at wheel is measurable and then 790 p-eng at crank!!! 20% drivetrain loss for RWD BMW??? Doesn't make sense ...
If they have measured 630 WHP then 700-750 HP at engine can be feasible

Would be nice to understand that horsepower rating better.

Problem is our drivetrain loss is closer to 12% . People use 20% to make big numbers . 800 hp is total BS .

Seems quite a few cars in Europe, Australia & Asia have the tune. O2 sensors are turned off & the 155mph governor is removed. It dates back almost 1 year.

Correct. I don't think those numbers are exaggerated at the crank...

Don't think so. They are measuring RWHP and calculating crank HP. Only real way to measure crank HP is with an engine dyno.

I agree! And your absolutely right, I'm simply saying I spoke to them on the phone and their techs said to me that their Dynos are for crank Hp. I had them elaborate and they simply said. " if it was to the wheels it would be about 15% less" I thanked them for their time and called it a day.

But the difference between 800 HP (Crank) and 630 WHP is >20% and this is the point. Noway this RWD drivetrain loses 20%... not today ... maybe 10 years ago. Even today's AWDs with much more components do not lose 20%....
