Teaser: M Festival 2015 at Nurburgring
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I just found the teaser of the M Festival 2015 in Germany that takes place from May 15th to 17th at the Nurburgring on the occasion of the legendary 24 hours race !!! This is one of the highlights of European motorsport events, especially the M Festival is awesome! I highly recommend this event to anyone who has the opportunity to come to Germany and is interested in motorsport. I also attended last year and it was great. And this year's program sounds again promising. We will have free entry to the M Festival areas, to the pit lane and the racing teams, we will have a training session in the M Driving academy, we will drive the new X5 M and X6 M, we will be at the famous M Night seeing lots of new developments (M4 GTS ?) and of course we will drive our own cars on the legendary M corso on the Nordschleife! And a lot more... So don't miss it ! http://www.bmw-motorsport.com/de/fan...-festival.html Here a pic of last years M corso Last edited by Blue.Thunder; 03-08-2015 at 06:43 PM.. |

as far as I know there is no obligation to own an M car or to live in Europe in order to be allowed to participate in the M Festival at the Nurburgring. Last year I met many M fellows there coming from the USA (without M cars) who attended (and were excited about the event! ). So it should be no problem at all. Furthermore there is a M shuttle service to take you to the place you want. But without a M car you can only participate in the M corso as a passenger (if you know someone who will let you ride with him in his M car ). On the other hand, last year my BMW dealership in Munich told me that only M car owners are allowed to participate in the so called M Power Tour (including the M Festival) that is organized by the Munich dealership itself. But I think that this is a very special case and only applies to customers of the dealership who want to participate. I suggest you ask the organizers of the M Festival via email (mfestival@bmw-m.com) before you plan your trip to the Nurburgring. They will tell you the conditions. I hope I could help you with that? |

This was the most incredible all access MP racing experience I have ever had. This was also part of BIMMERPOST ED Group trip last June the weekend before we picked up all of our F8x Cars from the Welt. Anyone from anywhere in the world can get a ticket and frankly this is the best and only way to the event. The fee last year was about $450 US but it includes so much in the way of food, drinks, driving events, VIP parties, Race Passes, and so much more that it's just a steal. Undoubtedly something any Motorsport fan should have in their bucket list to do at least once in your life!

Hey guys,
I have mailed them for tickets and got a response. I am planning on flying in from South Africa, spend a week in germany - and end off with the Race - can anyone advise cool things to do etc (BMW Welt is on the list as well as Porsche in Stuttgardt).. Enjoy sight seeing and dont party at all. Really appreciate the assistance. Also good budget hotel suggestions would be great? Last edited by CocoPops; 03-11-2015 at 10:59 AM.. |

Hi mstmng,
I will get the official schedule in the next days. But as far as I know the 24h-race will start in the afternoon on Saturday, May 16th. And usually the M corso takes places just before the race starts, about 13:00 h. Of course I will be there! Maybe I'm lucky and have the opportunity to participate in the M Corso once again. And yes, we can meet there! I hope to see you all there! It'll be great fun!! |

I went two years ago and had the time of my life.
The M Corso was on Friday afternoon and M night immediately followed. I can't believe they'll let anyone on the track the day the 24hr race starts. Also, if you haven't already booked a hotel, good luck. Just about everything in Nurburg books almost a year in advance. If you're a military ID holder, you can stay on base in Spangdahlem for cheap, about 45 min away. |

The reason is that the places for the M Corso were drawn at the M Night on Friday evening. And I believe that this year it'll be the same. |

Highly recommended. This was definitely a highlight of the ED trip last year. I rode in a helicopter and saw the start of the race, drifted BMW owned M4's and met some great people- like Aussie_in_London and his crew and all the US guys like Suave and Powaup .
