I have a 2014 and I just got the app and the adapter and noticed a few things
- folding mirror - i have to keep my finger on the door handle to fold the mirrors, and if i use the inside button to fold the mirrors, opening with comfort access doesn't unfold the mirrors. Is this how it is suppose to work?
- indicator cycles - i coded to 5 times but it isn't working, still just 3 times. Anyone get this to work?

You have to set the comfort closing delay to 0.

The turn signal blinker count doesn?t work on the F10.

So I would like to start by saying that if something could go wrong for me it absolutely would. BUT I downloaded the bimmercode app and purchased the vcast odbII adapter off of amazon as most people reading this app have done. my car is a 14' M5 and my biggest frustration was the i could not get the tire temp/pressure because since day one I have had the worst tire luck. That being said, for less than $50 it would be worth trying the bimmercode option and sure enough in less than 2 minutes, I went into coding, hit activate on tire pressure and temps and it worked with zero hesitation. Although tricky, I also turned off the ASD and will leave everything else for now. Most people want the tire pressure and temps so i thought this would be helpful to say I used only bimmercode and nothing else. ALSO, I brought my car to the dealer the other day and asked them to do it for me or at least tell me it could be done and they told me that even though I have the proper TPMS sensors, unfortunately the cars computer would not be able to read it so no matter what i did in the car it would not work. Well, surprise surprise, it did and I felt it would be helpful to make this post.

Connects through the same wifi adapter and once connected, you can choose betweeen different settings for exhaust flap ON/AUTO/OFF. Also can do the same for ASD (ON/OFF). More convenient than having to enable/disable through the coding app and I can change settings while driving. Here is the link: BimmerLink for BMW by Stephan Gauch

If you code it to 'exhaust flap: ON', then does it remain open every time you start the engine without having to open BimmerCode each time?

Well worth the 46.

I coded in a quick 20 minute play.

Auto high beam assist on when lights come on
Trunk close with short push on fob
Trunk close from inside car
Beep on lock / unlock (too loud will prob disable)
ASD off
Comfort access timer to zero for closing
Seatbelt warning off
DVD in motion
ring tones allow from phone
Multi codec enabled to allow playback of various formats
removed rear camera switch off after distance
Rear camera off speed increased to 50kph

all above is easy coding, plug in dongle and fire up your iphone. you can go into expert mode for more settings. needs a bit more info, not hard to find but gets messy with bits of paper and / or laptop in the car.

still to do

indicators in HUD
allow usb loading of hard disc with music etc
Nav route preview
I am sure I will find more cool stuff.

What error do you get. Have you tried in "SLOW" mode in settings??

Great app well worth the price, to code HUD signals go to expert mode and change

KOMBI => 3008 => HUD_PIA_BLINKER => aktiv

KOMBI => 3000 => BLINKER_HUD_ENABLE => aktiv

HU_NBT => 3001 => HUD_TURNSIGNAL => aktiv

Just ordered the vGate from Amazon.

Sounds like this a pretty useful tool. I used to do a lot of coding for local guys back in the day so I'm curious to see how much it can do.
