They offered 36K for a 6 month old 50K car, so I politely bowed out.
The latest M5 is not getting A Digital dash until at least november build, it will not have the "High beam assist " as my F31 has on it either, so only change will be the sat-nav.
Got back in mine and booted it all the way home and got 44 MPG, almost twice the M5's.
I thought Maybe new M3 next year.
Best regards J
Just try selling the car yourself. Trade in is always going to result in a ridiculously low value. These guys make much more money on used cars than new ones.

Very strange as that information goes against the official BMW roll out schedule for the newly updated iDrive system.

Anyone understand the above?

You will get the IDRIVE in 2013 build but nothing else, the "High Beam assist" is crap and worthless, the one I have on the F31 is great. The digital dash will not come much if at all before november
So the same set-up as existing M5's which is "old tech".
I can't understand this for a car costing 80K.

the new nav I don't get all the fuss about - its not any quicker and doesn't appear to have any functional benefits just looks refreshed? - I had it on a loaner from the dealer and whilst I'd like it in the car it's not a deal breaker. The digital dash again nice to have but the LED dash on mine gives me everything I need.

I don't get a smile from the dash or the nav when driving my car. I get a kick Ss smile when I've just hammered a 911 off the lights, or overtaken a Maserati under braking on a roundabout.

perspective - it's a beautiful thing.

Neil.

The new Nav is "lightning quick" you can't have tested it at all, it's light years in front of the old.

Nope New IDrive only, The "High Beem assist" is the old type "On or Off" not like my 330 D M Sport F31 which switches to different modes when traffic approaches, this should really be on the M5 by now.
I am not ordering one now, waiting for the M3/4 to come out and look at that.

May even go the RS6 route yet.
