I will believe it when I see it. I feel so priority 1
Please keep us posted as to your progress. I am 5 days behind you and was told it should be on a truck next week, but I will"have to be patient". I said come and meet me.

Anyway, you can now start harrassing the trucking company to see if they have accepted it for transportation to your dealer. 912-466-9992

I'm not sure this is a great strategy. These trucking companies are working on very thin pricing - their sole focus is getting the truck fully loaded as quickly as possible so they can start their run. They have zero concern which cars are on the truck, and since they are independant contractors they don't give a hoot about you as the dealership is their customer. I believe it would be more effective to call your dealership and have them prioritize your car over others awaiting transport at the VPC.

Perhaps I used the term harrass incorrectly.
I meant you can call and see if they have it in their system. It is less than a 1 minute phone call. Regardless of whether they care about you or not they can tell you if they have received your car. Plus, I dont think the drivers are answereing the phones, so you are not going to slow them down.

Agree, totally different interaction that what I was envisioning!

There are some on this board who get hysterical and belive the entire BMW logistics chain should be entirely focused on delivering their car to them yesterday. You're clearly in the more level-headed camp.

I think you may be giving me more credit than I deserve...

But thanks. For the record, you did your ED about the same time as I did. Do you have your car yet?

So just got the email from my salesman saying that the boat still doesn't appear to be at the port and that tmw was looking unlikely...I sent a screen shot of it from marrinetraffic.com showing it there at the port...he then responded saying that BMW has not yet taken delivery of it from the shipping company...so i guess its held up at customs...oh well, it was a long shot...

UPDATE - confirmed my car has been handed over to the carrier yesterday after the break-in service and oil pump replace. Landed Brunswick 10/15, admitted to VDC 10/18 (post customs) and cleared VDC 10/25. TBD delivery to dealer (prob today or Monday) but at least it's moved on a step....
incidentally my car's screenshot shows Waggoner's as the carrier. Off to call them now...

I'm sure I'm not. Judging by your photo in the signature block, you look like a fun-loving, care-free kind of guy.

Yes. Came into port on September 26th and was turned pretty quickly. I picked it up on November 5th.

Well the pic is a bit out of context, but I am a fan of Vegas and that movie. I think those glasses are the deal. But definitely trying to be laid back while I impatiently wait.

Guessing you meant October 5? That would be a super fast turn around though. Congrats.
