Valve guides leaks are most noticeable when the car sits and is started. If your car sits for a week or longer, when you start the car and see a puff of blue smoke, this is an indication of valve seals leakage and/or pcv system that allowed oil back into the intake tract which is burned on startup.
If you are driving aggressively and notice the puff of blue smoke on decel that would be indication or rings blow by. Have you noticed any of these?

Time to go to another dealer - doesn’t appear they are competent.
Oil consumption on these cars could be the turbo or rings - rarely the valve guides. Open the inlet to the turbo and look for oil (PCV). Spot on the back is fuel, not oil |
