Did u not ready anything i said? Why are they cutting off a structural part for something that can be repaired?

Your "straight up guy" is milking the insurance.
I agree with Trevor. You need to go get a second option from Trade Secret. That's very minor damage and shouldn't require extensive work like that

Taking it to Classic BMW collision center here in plano TX. They say 2-3 weeks. UGH. Thoughts on the repair? Do they fix the dent buff and paint or do they replace the panel?

Many thanks.
Ask some PDR to fix them first.. after that you decide what to do.. At least dent will be taken care of..

Part of my experience with collision center, they will most likely fill the dent with putty and have them repainted the whole panel. And also they will say that they need to paint at least 2 panels to have the color blending.

I know a guy in Florida who could get that dent out. No paint, no removal.. hes an artist with metal dent work and can get pretty much any dent out of any car.. You can fly him in if you want Otheriwse, I would do some research in your area to see if there are any dent repair specialists. You would be surprised how easily that dent will come out with the right specialist who knows how to massage the metal back out..

I'm with Trevor here, looks like it's something that can be repaired without cutting anything.

She is still the wife; but only because she decided to get violently sick the night of the accident and end up in the hospital for 3 days requiring multiple surgeries. The illness was not related to hitting my car but conveniently timed that I had to take care of her and not bring up the collision.
