OBD plug assistance

Good morning all. I went to plug in my OBD scanner and it looks like I pushed too hard and the OBD plug went behind the panel. Does anyone know how to take the panel off? How many screws/clips to look out for? Also, does anyone have instructions/helpful video that they can share. Please see picture below:

Hello again.
On the side of the dash, by the door, there's a plastic panel which clips off giving some access to where the plug is. A silver plastic lug on the bottom plastic panel is visible which you push off with long screwdriver loosening that panel and then pull it down gently freeing more of those clips, the plug is enclosed in a sort of metal tube which is part of the dashboard frame.
