Akrapovic Exhaust Trims

Am contemplating to have my Akropovic Exhaust trims re lacquered to protect the carbon fibre and especially the logos..

Any idea if they are already lacquered? If so..

Any additional benefit in applying additional lacquer and if not does it need the additional protection as am auctions about logos wearing down with time and usage

Any advise will be appreciated ..like always

Will the lacquer stand up to the heat? I would think it would ultimately discolour and flake off?

The carbon layer is the outer layer and it has inner exhaust which I believe generates all the heat..workshop are confidant lacquer should withstand the heat..

Just worried having paid a considerable amount once logo wears off then aesthetically they will look same as Cyba tips

Hence considering the additional layers of lacquer

I have the M Performance Carbon Tips (which are made by akropovic but have the M Logo exposed on the metal part).

They are still looking like new after 2 years.

After a couple of years my CF Akra tips looked fine; however, they were stolen over the weekend.

Considering replacing them but this time I might have some spot welding done.

Oops sorry to hear that..anything in hindsight that you could have done to prevent the theft?

As contemplating getting the bolts welded on mine to prevent easy removal..

Any other security measures anyone implemented ?
