- Got M5 comp and E63 S amg today (pics)

Hey guys ,

My best buddy and I bought a '14 M5 competition (his) and I bought an E63 S amg today . So finally will have some real life reviews, pros and cons on both . We just drove home so just took some quick pics. He already put some adv1 on his car . Thanks for looking

Can you share some interior pics?

Also is the black painted A wing in your front bumper normally painted black or was that custom work?

J/K. Not going to lie, if I didn't have a '14 CP on order I probably would have picked up an E63. The AWD just makes more sense in my part of the world.

Everything original on the car, this is an option called night package .

I had an F10 M5 so wanted a little change and I had a problem with Mercedes some time ago and they wanted to make me happy so got a really good deal on this. A lot better than the deal I was getting on a LCI M5.

Nice E63 S too!

. Bout the only thing I like on the E63 is the tunability of that AMG engine. 2 years already and still no monster tune for the S63tu. Sigh...

Yeah it will be interesting to see if the next generation AMG 4.0 Biturbo V8 will be equally tunable.

I've had a 07 and a 10 E63 great cars. But i can't get over how ugly the new ones became. Can't justify spending the money on a car i can't look at. Same for the panamera

agree 100% there is something amiss with the 2014 E63 front end.... and the car comes soooo high off the ground too: 4x4 style.

Agree, desperately needs the Renntech lowering springs in front and module in rear. About a 20mm drop would suit it well.

OP; please post your impressions and comparison of each as soon as you get the chance. I have one of each ordered and both arriving in December.

maybe i should have gone with blacked out m5... those LED's make it look like pure destroyer!

never seen e63 with night styling package, looks gorgeous as well!

Yeah Mercedes was dumb enough to sign a 10 year contract for 5" standard def Nav screens back in 2003. They have almost used them up but are burning the remaining inventory in the E class. The S class now has the new 12" HD screen.
