Dealership just called........
They want to buy my car for 110k? It's a 2014 so I'm confused about their motives. Needless to say, it's not for sale. I even told the person that called I wouldn't sell it for 130k.
Anyone experience this with a new car? |

Next, I'm confused..so they want to buy your ordered car (or do you already have it)? They must have a VIP customer or something that wants the same car quickly. Could you profit? Maybe tell them, sure, for another $100 off my lease payment every month or something? |

hell yeah.. sell it for 110 and get a fully equipped 14 (or 15!) on the ED for 100k... use the 10 large to pay for your trip to europe... you can go a quick detour on your way down here to Texas.

I agree with Skypx, if he wanted to sell it for 110 now, then he probably shouldn't have bought it in the first place. I reckon I could get out of mine at a very good price too, but can't be bothered because then I would have to go several months without an M5.

I think the real question is, what are the motives of the dealership? Seems awfully odd unless the dealer has demand outpacing their supply of M5's, which would be hard to believe in today's ///Market (pun intended).
The 2015 M5 won't be out for another 6 months almost, so if he sold now then why would he buy another 2014, unless he wanted a different color combo. Plus like he said he'd be losing all the stuff he's done to it so far. This just seems really strange to me. What was the original MSRP of the M5 anyways? Does it has something super special like CCB's that make it more of a value?
