Word is they might have tested their microcats on a European M5 which is less strict than the U.S Version that's why it worked.

This is a major fail. I am doing all this research to get the microcats installed in the AMS dp's and it sounds like it doesnt even work.

Can't you return them and swap them out for the catted?? If you didn't install them yet I don't see why not.

I believe he was doing his best to share creditable info. The sensors didn't wk so he tried out this method. A lot of people were waiting for his results.

I am thinking of moving the o2 bungs further down the exhaust and using micro-cats from another source. Once everything is installed I will report back.

We have no reported CELs from USDM models. The first installs go back to May 2013.

I had two different microcats with AMS downpipes and both still produce cel. Supersprint produced cel after about 30 miles of driving.

The micro-cats do not work well. It will still throw a code. Only solution is a tune.

I just got my SS catted DPs installed today and after around 50 to 60 miles, CEL came on..Haha..whats going on..
