I know I know man :-) Had the best time in the P car on the way home from Tim's tonight Had a Honda crotch rocket behind me and we went into a sweeping curve at 80 mph and he disappeared. We got stuck at a red light and I was ahead and of course he passed me. At the next light he gave me a thumbs up and I said "you know I was joking right?" He says "that thing took that turn so flat! It just stuck! I couldn't go that fast! Man that thing is fast!" Made my day-lol! We had installed my tune earlier int he day. It is really a nice little bump in hp/tq and the PDK shifts faster and more aggressively. Very happy!

this conversation reminds of how ever since i got the f10 m5, i kept missing the e60 m5. and how addicted i was to that v10 as it revd and just pulled and pulled all the way to 8400 rpm. while all anyone could do was complain about the lack of torque... the same with the sequential gear box. just had such a racy feel to it. no, it didnt shift as fast but its not just about speed , its about an emotional driving experience.

but everyone was so gaga over the f10 at the time, no one agreed with me.

heading down tomorrow to put my deposit on a GT3.

Beauty. Why C2 and not 4? I've heard great things too but wasn't sure if the 4 did as well.

Why 4 and not 2?

More feel in a RWD car for me. We're not going skiing in the Porsche right? And it's not trying to put 500ft-lbs down on the ground.

The new GT3 is not out yet but pretty much guaranteed I own one or the Turbo when it does. KEY is having the 991 chassis. I was offered a chance the same day to buy a BRAND NEW 997 GT3 that Porsche had stashed away with 80 miles on it-never titled. I passed. No comparison in the cars. The 991 S does the same and better lap times than the 997 GT3 and 14 secs faster than the 997 Carrera S.

+1 Much livelier car IMO. Both are pretty insane however.

Mike, man Vic and I poured the Koolaid down you're throat as you sounds like a long time Porsche 991s owner. I have you beat by 90 days, and I still sneak out for drives. Just hit 1200 miles, and no break is needed believe it or not(: Cant wait to see you're csr tomorrow and C&O.

Haha! Yeah you guys did :-) already up at Tim's shop this am to get the springs done and hopefully the exhaust if it show up. Looking forward to seeing you tomm. Talked to Anthony. We are meeting at 6:00 am at Cracker Barrel and then over to the lot together. Need to arrive that early we are guessing based on what you and Tim said about last month.

Don't change the wheels. The classic Carreras look great. What is the name of the kit on the car?

I am definitely leaving them on for now. We are lowering the car this am to tighten the whole look up.

The kit is OEM and called the Aerokit Cup

Mike and Vic, you guys are killing me with all of this P car talk! It's amazing how easily I could justify the "need" for a white 991 C2S!

I have tears in my eyes... I cant believe the tune allowed me to pull 2nd gear chirps in a pdk equipped car. The agressiveness is scary compared to the docile shifts in the DCT.

You know what Vic-I actually was able to chirp that sucker tonight. The tune has adapted nicely!
