That may be the case. It would be great to see how the same Vette runs at MIR which has some of the best air in the country for a drag racing. MPH is great for measuring HP potential but it's worthless if you cannot get the car maximized to ET a number that reflects the MPH. What did the C7 run ET wise?
11.4 @124 on the stock PSS's . A C7 Z06 auto just ran 10.4 @ 131 mph there on the stock sport cup 2's as well .

Those are some stout numbers. 124 MPH is good enough for 10.90-11.00 ET. Those Sport Cup 2's are a pretty stick tire and can hold some decent power. It would be interesting to see time slips for both runs and see the 60 ft times and split times as well.

Update. Tried an E85 mix and the car is even more powerful now and the shitty smell from the catless DPs is gone!. My tuner advised me on the mix and the temps are cooler now and the car makes more power. According to him it gained another 30whp on the other M5s he did and it sure feels like it!

I tried E30 & the car love it! Gain 0.2sec on a 100-200 run that's about a 10 over meter gain more than 2 car Length.

ok i have some questions on this e85 mix people are starting to use, how is this being accomplished with stock injectors? e85 gives you more octane but it makes a lot less power with the same volume as 93octane, as a result you need approximately 18% more volume of e85 to make the same power as 93. So with stock injectors the car has to be running close to 100% duty cycle to maintain the correct volume of fuel under some conditions. Are the tuners testing the cars at different loads and different rpms to make sure the car isn't running out of injector?

The car isnt running pure E85. Filll up without about 14-15 gallons of 93 and 5 gallons of E85. Regular 93 already has 10% ethanol. The mix gives a cleaner , cooler burn whcih in turn makes the ECU advance timing instead of pulling it on higher boost and high temps thus making more power.
