Does anybody have a DIY for install the KW HAS kit for the F10 M5?

As the title states. Im interested in how easy/hard is it to replace the spring perch with the KW provided perch and if there are any specific measurements/tips.

Pretty involved to DIY IMO. I'm handy with simple bolt-on stuff and I thought to myself that this was so much work!

I had a friend's shop, based in NYC, install mine and I helped a little. You'll need shock tools, like a spring compressor, and this floor standing machine that pulls off the stock perches off the shock bodies.

FWIW, a few days after installing mine, I ended up having them removed. I didn't like how much harder it hit bumps.

I end up having the shop install it for multiple reason with timing as the biggest problem

@ed4: did you have the KW HAS kit and removed it?

Yes, ed4, curious about your opinions on KW HAS and why you removed it? Compared to EDC settings, does is ride like your always in "sport plus" mode?

Also, how far did you have it lowered?
