Wax on clear bra

Getting my M5 back tomorrow from tint, IND and suntek PPF C install

Planning on waxing the clear bra and the optiguard paint to give it extra shine and slickness.

The installer said not to use petroleum based wax to avoid hurting the clear bra

Stealth et al, anyone have a bad result from waxing clear bras? I'm going to use a high end wax called Wolfgang Fuzion. It's mostly white carnauba but does has other polymers.

Worried but want to apply it.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks dudes.

Why aren't you having Opticoat over the xPel Ultimate as well?

Didnt do Xpel, did Suntek. May end up doing optiguard on the bra.

Spoke with Suntek and they said treat it the same as paint so no worries. Opti and wax away.

I like the smell, feel and look of quality carnuba wax. Gives it a deep gloss shine.

Slick is sick!!

I think most high end waxes are fine, as is OptiGuard. What you shouldn't use is anything containing naptha or kerosene. Some waxes do contain these products, but I don't know about Wolfgang.

Most Carnauba waxes would be fine.

I myself don't put anything on top of the OptiGuard, but if I did, I'd probably just put a semi-permanent sealant like Wolf's Hard Body or CQuartz Finest. My issue with Carnauba is that in South Florida - products like that don't last long due to the heat. Fortunately it's not an issue in the pacific north west.
