Btw..my RS6 is the older version with the V10TT and 6 speed trans...otherwise the result would have been different...RS6 trans is too slow.

What parts are available to help the programming like exhaust etc.? What do you guys recommend. I am trying to get more than 700 hp.

Thanks

DPs, intake and tune for sure for performance. Exhaust will provide a better sound over stock. You can view my review on the AWE exhaust that I just installed

Really nice and I ran against my RS6 with around 700hp. The M5 was actually a little little bit faster from 100-250 km/h.
Now over the winter I will work on modifying it.
This will be fun!
Looks great! Is that a 2012 MY?

Thanks Dan!

I'm actually close to finalizing a deal on a 2012 M5 but just a little nervous. The car has extended warranty and 27,000 kms on it but I'm afraid of potential issues down the line.

Any advice you have on picking up a used M5? Things I should be worried about?

I don't want to get stuck with serious issues down the road but I believe I'm covered till 2018 by the dealership.

Hi,
That are very low kilometers on a 2012.
I checked the service records very carefully and did another check at a dealer before I bought it.
I think the F10 M5 does not have too many issues even high kilometer ones.

If the service records are all good and only one or two owners and if it is a good deal why not?
Sorry but I think I cannot give much advise because I have owned the car not long enough.
Good luck!
