I agree with you. What you did is quite remarkable and you should not give away the IP. Authenticity loses its value if people copy.

Great mods and congrats - I am not one to do a lot to my cars but this time I really think the M5 needs an exhaust or some type of "cabin based" noise solution. I really really hate how quite it is at below 4k rpm levels - almost feels like a 7 series. The other item that is starting to bother me is the seat bolsters - I didn't think I would miss them but I think my new diet is shrinking my love handles and I am starting to slide around bit more Need to work on the lats or something..

Seats are next on the list...

This I have to see because I have a feeling that the seats are actually capable of lumbar adjustments but are missing the "buttons"??

They aren't, unfortunately. The hardware isn't installed.

Please let us know (or by PM) as I am fighting with local BMW dealer to order passenger sunvisor without security stickers (in EU only passenger visors have this), he is saying that they don't exist. Btw, I also have Alcantara headlining and this would work perfectly. Thanks in advance.

Oh, and this is best M5 that I've seen and Akrapovic is almost my neighbor (5 min away) :-)

Love the M6 steering wheel. Very cool that it will be an OE part on the M5 next year. I actually started a thread about debadging an M6 wheel to upgrade my stock M3 setup here...http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=749291

Here in the US one can order the "Euro" visors using the following part numbers

LEFT SUN VISOR ANTHRAZIT 1 51168038105
RIGHT SUN VISOR ANTHRAZIT 1 51168038106

These are the ones WITHOUT the stickers on them

Those are the correct part numbers. They should be readily available in Europe.

Actually your US dealer can order them too.
They are in the parts master file and currently there's at least two passenger and one driver side visor in stock at BMW NA.
At least for this part one can save the flight to Europe

Right. But the poster is in Slovenia. Whether or not they're in the US is irrelevant to him.

True. But maybe he wouldn't mind a vacation to the US to pick up his Euro parts
For those in the US they can order these parts locally.
