What would be great (and I don't know how to do this or where to find it or I would do it...) would be to have a post with links to the sound for each of the options listed above. I'm ready to pull the trigger but just a little confused by all the data. to me it's all about the sound and so a real-time side-by-side source for all of the options would be really fantastic.

Supersprint full exhaust, available in catted or catless configuration, with possible straight or X pipe and rear sections available in sport, race or valved sound levels.

Full catless exhaust with valves:

Probably a 6 IMO. Louder, but not by much. Certainly not on par with a straight piped GTM.

With Straight Pipe can you pass state inspection

I was in the impression that when you use straight Pipe you may encounter the problem of not passing local state inspection perhaps that is only in my state.

I have being reading all the posting about M5 F10 2013 exhaust performance options and I have the concern that Dinan is the only vendor that BMW will continue to honor you car warranty. After searching for weeks still can't find anything about Dinan products that they may have available today for M5 F10. I even contact them directly no response from then yet.

Please provided me your feedback and advise .

Thanks

Noticed this in your sig that you have resonated GTM. This may be a stupid question, btu could you explain why you would do a muffler delete but keep resonators? This is a serious question for me -- trying to decide on the setup still haha

does anyone here run a 2014 CP M5 with an eisenmann resonated centre pipe and race mufflers? I have been recommended this set up by Eisenmann uk, but would really like to hear it, or at least a soundclip of it. I have been assured no drone or too boomy, but a great sound over stock CP.... are the resonated/silenced Eisenmann centre pipes needed/recommended over keeping stock resonated pipes, if changing the mufflers to E-Race?

I have this setup but instead of Supersprint Mufflers I have E-Race Mufflers. I will be reinstalling the stock resonators or an aftermarket set.
Crazy loud cold start.
Lots of drone 1500 - 2000 RPM
Can really hear the turbos spool up.
Moderate dB over CP sound level while driving.
Crazy loud when WOT.

I used to have E-Race (no mid pipe) and drone in the 1500-1900 rpm range. For me, it was annoying and had to take it off. But then sound is totally subjective to everyone. Better wait til you hear this in person, sound clips or Youtube video will not be the same ad hearing/experiencing in person.

Where does the Meisterschaft F10 M5 Exhaust EV (valved) exhaust stand on this list? I assume what we see if the full exhaust with NO valve?
