We undertook yesterday a photo comparison of the F10 M5 concept versus the E60 M5 concept. But how does the F10 M5 compare to its direct German rivals - the Mercedes Benz E63 AMG and the Audi RS6. Let's take a look below.

Acceleration (0-62 mph) 4.5 seconds
Top Speed 155 mph, electronically limited
Transmission: AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission
Differential: Electronic locking LSD with ESP selectable suspension
Tires Front 255/35 R 19
Tires Rear 285/30 R 19
Curb weight: 4048

RS6:

Does the E63 have wider panels over the non-AMG E-class cars like the RS6, or are they standard fenders like the M5? I really like the look of a lot of MBZ's styling cues -- very aggressive, though I wonder if it'll be timeless.

RS6 looks boring. And like a Bubble. I like the F10 but the M5 is underwhelming. I hate to say it but I think the Benz looks the most exciting out of the three.

I would still take the E60 M5 over the AMG or RS6 though.

Why? the fenders. You gotta have flared fenders. THat m5 doesn't is the only real let down in looks department.

Audi looks very good, purposeful, proportional. Gotta say, it wins for me on looks but I would take the M5 over it just because of that BMW driving feel.

Ew Audi is corny

m5>e63>rs6 , I'm not that excited about either , m5 looks like 535 with replica m6 rims, benz has more quality details, but shape of the m5 is still gorgeous

I see the Top Gear production team scrambling to get these models together for a new episode.

The bimmer looks the best. It has the best proportions. The Benz has a hideous rear end and the lines on it are too rigid. The stance is also too rakish. The RS6 is nice but its no different from every other Audi in the lineup minus the fenders. On top of that, the Audi is bland and has no exciting design features. Even the brake vents are boring compared to the animal looking ones on the M5.

M5 :-D

I love the M5, except the rear diffuser.

Yeah. So when you compare the F10, does it look more aggressive beside the two other cars or is that just me?

Anyway, M5 wins in my book and Merc is second. Sorry Audi, I'm not a fan of the round body in your lineup. The front fascia of the Audi looks like it's saying "meh, I'm just happy to be even mentioned with the other two". If you want to talk about boring and not aggressive enough, that's the Audi.

The M5 by far looks the best!!! Followed by the AMG. The Audi looks dated, bloated, and i'm not really digging the silver side mirrors either.

E63 for me. I find the new M5 to be plain at best. I really dislike the rear bumper.
