Cool thing happened at a car show.

I live in Walnut Creek, CA and I am an avid cyclist so yesterday on my normal ride down Danville Boulevard I discovered a downtown car show in the city of Danville. There are often shows like this here, it is an affluent community and it is not unusual to see exotics cruising around so the car shows can be really interesting. I raced home to shower and get back before the show ended at 4:00. There were Lambos (lots!) Ferraris, Maseratis, Porsches, old classics, Cobras, Vettes...you name it. I got back there just before 4:00 which was perfect timing as many of the cars were cranking up their engines to leave. It was like a symphony for car lovers! (Teslas need not apply) As the cars were leaving there was much high-decibel revving and even a few burnouts. The local police were there and they were very tolerant. There was a GT 40 that must have had straight pipes - it was the loudest car that I have ever heard this side of a drag strip. He took off like a bat out of Hell with a friendly police car right behind him! As things were coming to a close I got into my M5 to leave and started to wind through town with some of the cars from the show. While waiting at a light in the middle of the street I saw a guy approaching with a camera and I thought for sure he was trying to get one of the car show vehicles. He then knelt down in the street and took a picture of my M5! When the light turned green he actually motioned for me to stop in the intersection so he could get another shot! (I stopped, of course.) Well, after that I was so psyched that I dropped it into M mode and punched it in 1st gear just like the big boys. I was just tickled that among all those exotics someone would pay that much attention to an M5 (he obviously knows cars, lol). Made my day.

I'm not on the bench. I want the ball, and let's go one on one baby.
