Did you know that?

I just made comment in the start/stop thread and realized there are some nice features in our cars that others may not know about. So I will start:

1. You can store your key between the cupholders.
2. With the M seats you can move the upper part of your backrest separate from the lower part for the right shoulder support.

Anyone else?

I did know about the seats but not the cup holders.

That is actually useful for me as I drive naked often.

Better place to store it than where I have been putting it. Ouch!

Thanks!

I did not know - but glad I do now. Not sure if these qualify as easter eggs, but that would be a good thread to start.

I'll add one. Did you know that if you're cruising down the highway and need to accelerate hard, punch the throttle and click the downshift paddle - the car will shift down to the optimal gear for accelerating. For example, it could shift from 7th to 4th in one shift - no need to click the paddle 3 times.

Just throw it over your shoulder and store it on the rear seat. Clutch is now unobstructed.

I was reading the manual the other night and discovered all sorts of things. But the key holder I didn't see yet. Cool.

How about the massager built into the seats for those long drives? There's a button next to the seat memory buttons that articulates the seat pads to simulate a massage.check it out if you haven't already!

Service menu fun.
Press and hold the odometer reset button and at the same time turn the ignition on by presing the start stop button. Release the odometer reset button, and you should see a menu of 4 items on the dashboard. From here, use the odometer reset button to advance to the next entry using a short press, and to select the desired entry using a long press.

Move to the one labelled UNLOCK. You will be presented with a passkey screen. The passkey is the sum of the last 5 digits of your VIN. Increment the code by pressing the odometer button until you reach the calculated passkey. Then a long press of the odometer button to select it.

Enjoy!

there happens to be voice warnings saying "speed camera ahead", while my navigation is not yet activated (due to some coding issues, that dealer is trying to fix). is that a built-in function?

Heres one that will help when you have groceries in both hands. When your putting something in your trunk, kick under your middle rear bumper and it will activate the trunk latch and open.

Can you confirm this? Do you need to be in any special setting ie sport plus? I can't seem to get it to work.

Hold the downshift paddle and push the pedal all the way down...past the faux stopping point.

Also works in auto mode (no paddle necessary).
