New (2015?) ///M 535i xDrive out - saw the first one on the street today

Why do people do this? Better yet, the fact that he would actually park this right next to mine ... ;-)))
I don't get it. Made me really consider again putting a 528i badge on my baby. What do you think?

I wouldn't take it so hard. Firstly, you know he is not going to ding your doors unlike the normal idiots, because he actually understands what an M5 is. Secondly, the owner hasn't put a M5 badge on there, yes, it does not look the best with the M badge and I wouldn't do it, but with just about every other number in the BMW range getting a sub M model based on the N55 engine, a M535i is probably going to happen from the factory in the next model anyway. Take it and smile, you probably have more in common with the owner than you think.
My 2c...and I love your ride.

LOL. Not a big deal, definitely funny. Reminds me of the time a 535 with two M badges on its kidneys said he would put a whopping on me. Just put a positive spin on it by laughing!

lol - that was my first thought too. Least the dude parked straight too. I can park in the freakin boonies...come out when I'm finished my business...and still have 4 cars sucked right up next to me like they got blown there...

Not sure what the badge does for him tho - maybe he's got a special badge for everyone he parks next to?

Garage List
You should order a couple of these in your glove box for these occasions. Feel free to stick it on such cars to help the owner take it to the next level.

imo, better than seeing some toyota with prancing horse badges all over the car. Doesn't BMW sell those ///M stickers/decals too?

I recommend 528i badge, but you may then have to answer people posting pictures of your car stating 'why do these 528i owners spend all that money on quad exhausts, wheels, etc. trying to make there cars look like an M5'

Sweet! Where do I get one?! I need one for winter duty. I need the cocaine interior though, but the Oreo would work fine for me too. Everyone knows you can't drive an M5 in the winter anyways. If I can't get my hands on an ///M535i xDrive, then I'll just get a 2014 Carrera 4S instead. P-Cars FTW!

LOL!

BMW are doing this exact thing themselves with the M550d and now every M-sport version here in Europe has a M badge on the front fenders.

at least this guy has "competition package exhaust" (black)

i saw 520d, which had 520d badge on the right (standard badge place) and M5 badge on the top left corner of the boot

it looked more like M5 owner felt sorry for 520D owner and honoured him with M5 badge

I recently pulled up behind a M750i at my detailers. The guy got out, took one look at me and my beast, dropped his head and quickly scurried into the facility. Inside, my friend was getting his Alpina B7 attended to. The guy looked at both of us and headed to the men's room. We got a good laugh out of that one.

To look at it from another perspective, I bet that M535i xdrive gets more attention than any stock M5

Like i always said, the uninformed wont know the difference anyway and wont care, the informed car enthusiast or a REAL ///M owner WILL know the difference and just laugh at you. So why bother!?!? If u cant afford an ///M5 y bother being a poser?
At my gym, theres another F10 owner and a GTR owner and it seems like the 3 of us are always parked next to each other because we park waaaaayyyy at the end and walk it in!

I believe you're mistaken, that's an M750Li, you'll have the genuine M7 owners up in arms

You're right, my bad.

My most sincere apologies to any M7 owner whom I may have offended with my insensitive and careless remark.
