It was actually photoshopped The M5 and 1M had its colors switched, so technically this is a Valencia Orange M5, he he. But if you like it a lot, it may be available for Individual order

I agree 10000%

Pricing will come out soon. FWIW, the Exec package in CA costs CAD 9,500, though it's not apples to apples as the CA cars seem to come with some added standard features (e.g. 20" wheels)

The Cdn Exec package has both the US Exec and US Drivers assistance package.

Cant compare at all unfortunately.

Indeed agree, hence why I mentioned it is not an apples to apples. But I suppose it gives some ballpark of what the sum of those 2 packages ought to lie in.

I am glad there is a good amount of standalone features, I easily see myself skipping both packages and doing several a-la-cart items. It's great that it is not like the 1///M where you pretty much had to get either a stripper or a fully loaded car, but there it was due to logistics and short production time of 7 months.

So there will be things like 20 inch wheels, HUD, Night vision, B/O audio. But will things like side view cameras be in one of those packages or standard equipment? What will be standard on the M5???

I think that will be offered the following model yr (2014) as part of the LCI, one other reason perhaps to wait out past the first MY run. As a 2000 E39 M5 owner, I promised myself not to buy a first MY M5 again, the 01 LCI saw some meaningful changes both under and outside the hood. Would be shitty to buy a 100K car which in a yr looks 'old', but hey, price to pay to have it right away.

Funny, two dealers in San Francisco Bay Area said they are not ready to take order of F10 M5 (Waterford and SFBMW) but one said they are ready to take order and said I could go in and order one tomorrow.

Don't all U.S. dealerships have the ordering info at the same time? I am ready to order so should I wait or just go ahead place my order ?

Since F10 is brand new, should I expect to pay full price or am I still able to negotiable for a better price?

Appreciated if I could get some inputs here. Thanks in advance.

'Placing an order' tomorrow isn't going to speed anything up.

April 23 is the first for all dealers in the US.

All they'd do is discuss options with you and get some money. They can't actually order the car yet.

Expect to pay sticker for the first year. All U.S. dealers get the same info at the same time. Not sure why they wouldn't. Unless they're talking about they don't wanna even create a list until you can actually order. Right now everyone is on their dealer's list, waiting to actually order.
