Singapore grey
I've had black BMWs for the past 8 years. Just about to order a M5 F10 and I'm trying my best not to order black! Has anyone seen a singapore grey M5 in the flesh? Is it close to black or more close the grey?
Some pictures online it looks very dark, almost black and on others it looks like the space grey |

I have Singapore grey. Under certain conditions (lighting wise) it can look sort of black , but I think most of the time you would easily see it as a grey....with a tinge of green and blue in the paint.

If I could change the color now, I would've gone with frozen grey.

That is true, but keeping it clean is a pain.

That is why I stay away from black. I wanted to go with SG, but it is dark enought that it will be almost as difficult as black.

Singapore Grey is an incredibly deep color . It blows away any black I've ever had . You have to see it in person . Seriously it pisses on black

That's exactly my take. I like the colour but it doesn't really pop. It's more subtle than most of the other colours.

I have an SG M5 and I'd best describe the color as a gunmetal grey. It certainly has some blue hue's and is quite dynamic based upon lighting conditions. It can range from a dark grey/blue in bright light to grey/black in dark lighting conditions. Personally that's what I like about it. I agree though that it doesn't pop and is more subtle. Here's a video of mine so you can see it from a few different angles.

I had to choose between black and SG and went with black. Sg looked a bit conservative to me so I went with black which for the first few months looked bad ass. Now there are swirl marks and between the break dust on the wheels, yellow pollen in the spring and dust in the fall, I've given up trying to keep it pristine If I had to do it all over again I'd prolly go with silver or space gray so I would have to deal with dirt and swirl marks.

Singapore grey was my first choice. But on sahkir orange interior. I think singapore grey is the best grey they've put out personally. I ended up going with imperial blue though because the color combo with amber leather was just as awesome.
