Auto-H?

Does the m5 come with auto-H. Comes in handy when sitting in traffic loved that feature on my old x5.
Thanks

You can manually switch on the HB and then it will automatically switch off when you pull away.

Having said that with the DCT anyways if you are on fairly level ground it doesn't creep like an normal auto transmission unless you bump the gas.

What is HB. During a test drive I thought the M5 had a lot more creep than my M3 dct.

The trouble with this is roads are rarely flat. I often find myself rolling back if I take my foot of brake.

If you have the parking brake engaged and tap the throttle, the DCT will auto release the parking brake. So that's a manual auto hold of sorts.

There is a prerequisite for the above to work, and that's having your seatbelt on.

Sometimes mine releases when I tap the throttle and sometimes it doesn't. Can't see any pattern to it. My seatbelt is always on.
