BMW issues

So I purchased my M5 about 2 months ago. I traded in my Lexus and was told that BMW would pay off the remainder of my Lexus within 10 days. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago I get a 50 point deduction of my credit score and find out that BMW never paid off Lexus. Legally I'm not sure what I can do but it is a breach of contract since I have documentation saying they would pay off my Lexus within 10 days. Does anyone have any experience with this type of situation? I'm not even sure what I can do?

I went in today and they showed me they just paid off Lexus but the damage is done to my credit. They told me they would fix my credit but I doubt they will.

All this happened at BMW of Encinitas so beware.

I consider this a dealer issue and not a BMW issue. The dealer who accepted the trade would be responsible for paying off the existing loan. Unfortunately, I have heard this situation before, but not specifically related to BMW or a BMW dealer.
