SIB pads did take care of the long headache of HORRID SQUEAL!

My BMW local dealer and SA Luca Reyner welcome replacing my pads with SIB and !! OMG !!
I never knew how sweet and silent this car could stop !!
A miracle if you will
At stop light all I'm listening to is downshifting exhaust blips rather than HORRID SQUEAL!!

LOVE THIS FORUM
Thank you whoever mentioned SIB pads!!

And to you guys who are still on the fence !! Please do it !! Magical !!

I just got it done during my 1,200 mile break in service on my M6GC last week. Haven't driven the car enough to see if this was the ultimate fix or not. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I am really "Puzzled" as to why you were getting brake squeal, I never have it on the LCI M5 (12K miles) or my M6 GC CP 5K miles to date.

I snow foam and jet wash the rotors and callipers each car wash.

Early pads had no Harmonic balancers on them
Some early Harmonic balancers were coming loose
So the pads were updated.

really? Does this apply in Canada too?

I just brought my car in for break in service and the brakes are just absolutely noisy and squealy.. brings me unwanted attn.

i spoke to the tech, they said they had no idea what to do... and everyone just deals with it and complains
