Carbon fiber mirror covers

Anyone have this installed on their car? I'm trying to install mine but it feels like I'm going to damage the bottom tab upon installation. Is there a trick to this?

Yeah but I swear I'm dumb as shit bc it doesn't slip in easily. Might just bite the bullet and buy the IND or OEM ones

my advice is to be very careful. I managed to get one on correctly, but broke the tabs off the oem cover. on the second cover, I accidentally snapped some of the plastic connections off, and gave up after an hour of trying to fit it on with my son. Now I have one side carbon fiber and the other side space grey.

I purchased the M Performance carbon mirrors caps when I bought my car. It was a port installed accessory so I didn't do the install. They look very clean.
Good luck with your install!

Just get the cf over your existing side mirror. Much easier to install. Just double sided tape and line them up and boom! Done. No breaking tabs or anything

@Mgone can you take pictures up close? I was thinking about this but afraid that the edges would protrude. Hope that make sense. It wouldn't be flush with the rest of the mirror.
