Craig,
I believe from my memory that it is a couple of bottles, and an air compressor that you can screw the bottles into. (Pages 172, 173 and 174 of the owners manual have a diagram)

Thanks for the fast reply. I am in Christchurch, New Zealand. We have had earthquakes here recently and my whole house has been packed up and put into storage while it gets fixed. My owners manual is packed up as well and my dealer is not much help. I am really keen to see how it fits in the boot, does it come in a bag or does it just drop in the foam mould and how many pieces are there?

Thanks Craig

Sorry to hear about the earthquakes.. Here is a link to BMW USA where you can download your owners manual. I have mine on my phone which is handy!

Also, the whole owners manual is built into the iDrive system and is searchable, pretty cool.

Also...I used the kit with my previous M3, be sure to warn the tyre shop, and foam goes everywhere when they pop the tyre off! (worked a treat however)

The bottle was about $120 and is a standard spare from BMW, the compressor I guess they'll have to get in...I'd try Ross at BM workshop in Auckland he'll be able to get one for you, he's great.

Cheers
Stu
