It's been a minute but I can report my car is running strong with 500 miles on a OEM clutch with xhp tune. Not sure what torque number's it's at but it's walking my f90 on 50 roles. Downshifting at full power without a problem.

How many pounds of boost are u running on the stock clutch and which tune? I'm running 23psi with pure stage 2s and my stock clutch with the xHP tune is holding strong.

Yea, so far. I didn't want to declare success until it held a full power kickdown shift but its done it a few times now.

Ahh ok. My tuner doesn't advise me going over 23psi because he said eventually the clutch will start to slip.

Are u running a built motor?

Stock engine. I'm sure something will break eventually but that's just part of the game. For now OEM clutch is performing where SSP failed catastrophically.

I wish there was more info about the deka.

On the bright side my akra exhaust arrived.

I sent you the same pictures and info I've shared in this thread. You did eventually respond to my email saying the clutch blew up... after 2 weeks, to say that it wasn't the clutch's fault but you would "warranty it this one time".

By that point, based on my experience and the others in this thread with similar problems, I was no longer interested in spending anymore time or money on it.

When there is a failed product, we try to evaluate it as best as possible. While it is easiest to pass blame onto the product, there is usually zero accountability for incorrect installation, doing adaptations with improper tools, driver mistreatment/ abuse, and just plain lack of knowledge with the product.

I have always taken the stance to take care of the customer no matter the issues that may arise. We often warranty products that should not be warrantied, such as abuse, or products outside their warrantable dates.
Now there are the select few that just try to out right scam us, and lie to us about exactly what happened. I personally have no time for these types of individuals.

In a nut shell, I will bend over backwards to help any customer out that may need assistance with any of our products. If there is a general problem, give us a call or email me directly. A select few individuals would rather come to a social media platform and blow a simple problem out of control. Every problem has a solution. It might not always be the one you anticipate on getting, but there is always a solution.

In your opinion, what seems to be the issue here and why so many individuals report identical problems?

Is there a right and a wrong way to install a clutch? This specific SSP clutch?

What is the particularity that makes SSP prone to mishandling or faults or whatever?

Hello to everyone! Another update of ssp clutch fail. Today made few pulls from 60kmh to 200, on third pull car punces and i feel clutch is sliding on 2 gear. Looks like again failed metal plates, as on first time . After weekend we will finaly replace this garbage to deka clutch. Wait for failed clutch pictures.By the way , new oil , filters and work i had to pay for myself, Kris refused to any refund.

You can tell this shit to your grandmother. When my clutch failed first time it was 101 farytails, why you dont want to repair it or return money, okay from 102 time you repaired it with hammer and sent it back . When i have asked you what we will do if it would fail again , you told bullshit that its impossible and if it will happen everything would be guilty exept your shit clutch. After you just ignored all my messages on whats up, also you didnt took the phone.

Guys in Sweden increase pressure and run close to 800hp or even more on stock clutch with zero fails. One problem , dct is with aftermarket ecu, on our cars,we shoul find , who can tune oem gearbox ecu.

So far, 5 gear doesn work at all, gearbox in failsafe mode. Only modification so far is downpipes with swiched off rear oxigen sensors, so power is stock.

Stage 2 clutch Shift rod 5-7 error

Hey Guys thanks for all the good input.

Has anyone had shift rod 5-7 error with the stage two clutches? Im running out of options. I had them flush tranny again, change filter again to bmw filter, did the re learn procedure. And still randomly i get drive train malfunction.

Are we missing something? Im told maybe i need a new transmission. I already spent well over $6,000 for clutches that haven't worked well :/
