How long is the current wait for an M5 F10

if i order an M5 Today, when would the next production slot free up,, in other words how long is the backorder

Slots are allocated per country and per dealership.

You maybe able to find a dealer in your area with a upcoming unsold slot or you may have to go far outside to find a quicker slot

If you're in the US, umm, about 6months at least it's still a bargain here at just under $100k

Has the price been given already? I'm number 14 out of 15 that my dealer has coming so you're saying that once the order book is opened for the U.S. market it will 6 months after that before the cars arrive? I guess what I'm asking is that if I order ASAP I wouldn't get the car in August-Sept?

In Canada I am in the March production should get the car late April early May according to dealer. I was told there is also an April production for Canada as well.
I put a deposit on the car in early December 2011

I don't know if any of this helps but I figured I would put it out there.

I have a relative who lives in Ayr Scotland check with the local BMW dealer, you could email dealer and confirm if they have a spot open.

No price announced for the US yet. According to the sticky thread above the price will be announced at same time as the NY auto show in mid April.

If you order asap for the US you should probably get it in aug-sept. I think. Production doesn't start until July which is still 4 months away.

I plan on ordering as soon as my salesman says I can. I gave a 1K deposit over a month ago for their 14th out of 15 spots.
