Yeah - still out of my price range right now. I'm waiting for the 2016 M3 and likely do a ED on it.

But If I can get a M5 on the lot near the monthly of the M3, I'll strongly consider it.

Looks like December is the time of the year for these fire sales.

Try calling a Sonic dealer, they tell you at 5% off window, they are basically losing money. And they refuse to move stating they feel they are the lowest priced dealer in the nation.

Look at this 2014 still on the lot. I have no idea how these move finally!
http://www.bergstromauto.com/new/BMW...f0e76a18a0.htm

If you want to buy it outright, you may be able to get a deal, as lease support on 2014 is off and generous residuals are not there to move these off the lot.
The discount needs to be substantial for it to make sense. But this one is loaded, CP, CCB and all ...

I believe ED invoice is at about 14% under USA MSRP...

You think it's possible to get to get a deal for an M5 on the lot for a ED invoice price?

And are ED selling the cars at under invoice?
Like I said, it's hard to get 14% off (ED invoice) right now, but at the end of the 2015 if there is any left over, then you can even get 20% off...As far as ED, they sell the car at ED MSRP (US invoice), but I have seen people had negotiated with dealer for slightly over ED invoice.

Its possible to find a dealer to do ED invoice. You have to call around in the major markets like California or Florida. I was lucky and picked up 2015 on an ED order build that was delivered to the Welt last August 2014. Also dealer paperwork mistake the erred in my favor, I didn't get charge gas guzzler Tax. Saving me $1300 below ED invoice. Not every dealer deals, but it was was shopping dealers for 2-3 months persistently.

People like to think M5 are rare cars... in reality they are not. Not every day a dealer will have someone walk in and say they want to order a 100K car.

Do u know of somewhere in Florida that is this negotiable. I bought an ED from California because FLORIDA dealers Are terrible.

I never made it to Florida, but I was told at the time the largest regional M5 allocations were in California and Florida. So to get an "deal", easier finding a region that has more allocations.

Oh ok. Think it must have been misinformation. Half the dealers don't even have one on the lot. I've talked to at least 2/3rds of them in Florida. They aren't very negotiable. At least nothing like California.

I agree with your comment ... who would option an M5 at 125K and not include leather! Beyond me.
You have to be willing to make some compromises when you are picking one from the lot and getting a fat discount.

Can anyone confirm that ED cars come out of dealer allocations? The GM at my dealer told me an ED car is outside his allocation so he's free to set the price (within reason of course). I had a great relationship with him and he gave me great ED deals but sadly he just moved on as I'm getting ready for another ED. Now I may have to play sales game if I can't hit it off with the new GM.

Be more specific about what you are asking. What types of tax credits are you referring to? I will do my best and try to help.

Try Steve Hui at Pacific BMW in Glendale, CA. They are offering $3k back of invoice on 2015 m5's in stock.

They do come out of your dealer's allocation. When the F10 M5 was first launched the ED program was given a separate allocation, but that was a one-time thing.

It's all about timing. Those small market mid western cities in the winter time have a hard time moving an M5.
