I have liked the M5 ever since the E39. This is my second BMW (just returned by E90 M3 early November) and second time ordering from Steve Thomas BMW (David Avilles). This has been a nice upgrade I think.

GREAT trip overall. The weather wasn't the best but it's to be expected for early December in Germany (similar to Western WA Weather). I ended up putting ~700 miles on my ///M in nearly 4 days of driving.

Did the individual shot suggest that Platinum leather covered trim is available? That would be much nicer than the Piano Black in black interior.

Did they not give you a full gas tank? You had 1 mile on your car (which is awesome) considering it was delivered from Dinfolging and not Munich. I could only assume that because it was Winter / Snow they didn't drive your car out to get gas.

I took delivery earlier in the year (2015 m5 in Aug) and they were filling the gas tanks full for ED delivery.

Stealth I think it is available. When I talked to the lady who was representing the individual area she said it was available for all models but it was best to asked the Dealership for more info. Unfortunately the dealership was closed before I could go to it. When I go back this year I plan on going back to the welt and getting more information for the options that one can do when customizing their car. Here is some pics I took for my next leather options. There was a 4 series GC with the leather it looked real nice.

I'm not sure on the Platinum Leather. This was my first time seeing it. I'm sure like any of the other "off the list" Individual Options, it depends on the connections your dealer has.

Yup I had a full tank this time (unexpected). My M3 (ED 3 years ago) was near empty when I took delivery. Nice change.

Thanks and no concerns there (re: tint). I'm not big on tints and fortunately the climate here agrees.
