Side skirt and lower rear bumper paint
My car has a little over 2k miles and I'm starting to notice scratches in the side skirt and in the lower rear bumper from "road debris". Because the car is low, this seems to be a problem for the M5. Had a similar issue in my jet black 04 Z4 and it got o bad that I had to get it resprayed.
Anyone else face this problem? The obvious solution would have been to have a plastic film installed when the paint was new. |

Citrin Black, individual, love it, may order it again, would have skirts painted but thats just my OCD running my brain down an irrational path, because, worst case i drive it one more year and pick up a 16, good luck with yours!

10k miles, frozen black M5.
No chipping on side skirts or anywhere else.I avoid driving on gravel lots and keep a good distance from other cars.

Can't do that with the crappy roads in New England. Have a hard enough time avoiding pot holes big enough to damage the 20" wheels/tires = ruined weekend. |

I drive my brothers M5 in NY, and just about every wheel is slightly out of round. Winter is rough as well. Fortunately the roads in SoFL are in good condition. It rains a lot too so they are always rather clean.
