2014 (LCI) M5 Cup Holder
Anyone know the part # for the LCI cup holder? Not the leather lid, the actual plastic (dual) cup holder.

Can anyone with a 2014 M5 pop their cup holder out and let us know the part number?
Sounds silly.. but I have been trying to get the LCI cup holder for a few months now. Hasn't been easy. It's actually harder than getting the LCI front grilles -

That is the cup holder for manual M5's.
We need the part number for the DCT cup holder. Unfortunately 2014 LCI cup holder part number isn't available on parts diagrams on realoem.com or penskeparts.com So the only way to get the part number is for a 2014 M5 owner to pull out the cup holder and let us know what the part number is.

I've got a LCI with DCT. I'll take a look and see if it pops out easily. I thought I read somewhere that it was a pain in the ass to get it out though.

It shouldn't be too difficult to remove the cup holder. I say this because in the DCT M5's, in order to engage neutral when the car is off, there is a button/switch under the cup holder. So, I would assume that it shouldn't require any tools or be difficult to remove.

My pre-LCI cup holder just broke, I wasn't even aware it was upgraded for LCI. I'd love to get the PN as well so I can see about having the dealer replace it with the new version. Does anyone have a picture of what the new one looks like? I'm curious how they're different.

It doesn't seem to want to come out and I am hesitant to use more force.

Maybe Nate can give us some tips on getting the cup holder out. Hoping it's not too difficult.

Looking at the LCI cupholder in the picture I see that the left side is just about as deep as the right side. I know my non-LCI cupholder is deeper on the right-hand side. In fact my large Contigo cup (20oz) won't fit the left side, so it must be a hair smaller in diameter as well.
There must be a reason at least for the two depths being different, thus I do not think an LCI cupholder would fit in a non-LCI car.

You have to remove the entire trim piece to the center console and then you can get to the bottom of the cup holders. There is a small screw that you must take out and then the entire trim piece pops out. I did this last year when I installed my Laser Jammers. We hardwired my Laser Jamming system to my cigarette lighter in between the cupholders.
The screw is located underneath the little plastic piece that is where the keyhole is. You have to remove the little plastic piece and then the screw will reveal itself.

@GNALUZU It's easy to pop off the key hole trim piece. Open the center compartment and use your fingers to lift it up. Also notice the screw in the attached photo that RPI was referring to.
