When the engine is warm, so after 20-30min then i have tried park to rev about 4K RPM.

But with DSC OFF, handbrake off, Neutral, sportplus, no idea but it does not work...

@ careful driver...
Because i drive an ///M Car. And i want listen the sound from this beautiful car, not often but also in park. I drove bevor the M5 F10 an 2007 LCI M5 E60. And with this it was never a problem...

I Dont understand BMW why they made this. Because its a truly M-Car and not so crappy shit...
No I also want to listen to it, but usually above 4000 rpm, its way too loud to listen

My cousin had the same question about his 15 M6 and when I got in his car, I let it warm up for about 15-20 seconds, I had no issues revving it past 3k-4k. If you try before the warm up, it will not let you go past that.

You can also trying putting it in, N , MDM mode, S3, and DSC off and see if it works for you. Just a thought

I have another strange problem..I had to change tyres and decided to do few burnouts before I get the new ones..but..rpm wont go over 1500 if brake is applied no matter what I do..car was warm..everything in sports plus and dsc completely off

I tried it again several times during the last days but with same result..wtf is happening?

I have filters and muffler delete (vacuum lines sealed) and car was updated last month.

It takes about 2 min from when your car turns on. Doesn't matter what the engine temp is. Turn the car on, let it sit for a few min, and you'll be able to rev it. It restarts the protocol every time you shut it off and turn it back on.

My 2015 CP won't rev past 4k irrespective of settings etc. It makes me shy around AMG's

That's very strange. I was able to do it on my 13 and now on my 14cp. Perhaps they have changed something. I would bring it into the dealership and complain. Does your launch control have any issues?

I find it funny that the vehicle has a launch control feature that will put 4-500 ft-lbs of torque on the drivetrain while stationary but it won't let you rev past 4k rpms...

I've never tried to rev even past 2000rpm stationary and have no intention to.
