well let's say this way... the MSRP of this car must be somewhere between 110-115k correct? it's 2013 model with 20000 miles for 2 years. Next year is the usual lease return of this car with about 30,000 miles. 60-61% residual is something about 70k (next year); so basically 71500 it's the price of next year and not now; however I believe M5 has the residual value less than 60% after 3 years/30k

no lol your instantly losing 10k on that deal... Mine was sold for like 78/79 as a 2014 with 19k miles... And I had everything but NV..
That car like others have said should be mid 60s and even then within 5-10k miles you could only resell it for mid 50s lol Still its a great car if you get it for like 65-68k |

There is just so many used ones, and so many good deals on new ones at insane rates that they're probably making a killing off of the trade in guys and flipping them for 7-15k in profit. |

Yeah if you are patient you can beat that price by $3-$5k pretty easily.... I'm currently looking at cars with a bit more mileage ~30k and people are willing to go less than 65k all day long on those cars.... even loaded up with options. I don't care about NV and rear entertainment but am only looking at cars with just about everything else.

FYI sold my '13 with 22k miles for $64k in sept. Msrp was $109k
You must be in the 60's k range. Bmw offered me 59k.....$70k too much. It also depends on how much of a hurry you are in. Comp pack and LCI has killed the ' 13 value IMO. Good luck

I picked up a '13 M5 with 38500 miles for $68,500 about a month ago. Every package but NV. However, my car is a CPO and the cheapest one listed for sale.
I mean the cheapest '13 CPO right now is $68k for 38k miles. So I assume this 20k mile M5 is NOT a CPO...

I am trading in my 2013 for $65k with 16xxx miles. It was a 101xxx MSRP.
Mint condition and after tax break on the new car, it turns out to be a pretty solid number.

I'm looking to wait until July or August 2015 to pull the trigger on a 2014 with Competition and Executive package. Being that the 2016 M5s should be hitting around that time, what type of price range am I looking at?
In addition, is it better to get a used CPO model or get a used and buy the extended warranties? |
