I had a similar steering wheel in my M3 Competition Package a while back. It was great for a couple of months then it got really nappy and became a continuous source of "suede balls". Tried using a suede brush on it but it didnt do much to remedy the problem.

Probably ok for a show car that gets limited use. Other than that

An M performance edition of the BMW M5...........??????????????

Are they joking? Who needs M performance on a true M-car!
Just silly marketing to squeeze more money out of some customers.

Give me more IRL performance = more power - then I´m prepared to pay extra.

The only nice thing is the contrast stitching, which I think should be available for the " standard " M5. Just as on the M6.

Red one is a wrap not paintwork (check BMW UK site). Got to be a first , BMW offering a factory supplied "wrapped" vehicle!

The E92 M3 has Performance parts, like those carbon fiber components, ZCP rims, Performance steering wheel with LED for RPM, Dynamic Damper Control, etc...

So this is not something new. More options and Performance parts are always welcome.

This is going a little too far. An M M car? Not a fan of frozen colors. A good friend just picked up a Frozen Black E92 M3, and it's nice, but not incredible.

If someone is spending $150000 or more on a car, for one I dont think they would be taking it to the mall parking lot to get dinged up and second if you did get a scratch i think you'd be able to handle the bill.

I get the "frozen" versions of metallic paints. but "frozen" versions of "flat" paint are just going to look like the car hasn't been fully painted.

weaksauce...
I feel the same way. Maybe 5 years ago it was cool, but not now and not on a big sedan.

I never get all worked up whenever BMW drops some exclusives at big mark-up prices; I just complain that I'm in the US and these are not an option for me.

I like both the Blue and the Red, and and I would probably never buy a Blue car normally and Red would not be my first choice.

Tired of the whole matte paint thing. Maintenance on them is absolutely terrible, too. If I wanted matte, I'd do a matte wrap.
